In our cities, if the parks and similar facilities are removed, and instead more residential buildings are erected, is it the necessary result that commuters travel faster? I hardly think so. [短句放心用]

To begin with, does high efficiency of commuting solely or really depend on whether workers have easy access to the workplace? Nevertheless, the ten or fifteen minutes on the road is not necessarily a drag that slows the commuters down. Instead, what actually stalls the urban travelers is the influx of passengers at every metro station or the huge and sluggish flow of motor vehicles. They are the real culprit. Either case would render the proposed practice ineffectual. If we could all agree on the reasons, we would come to the realization that shortening the distance between home and work may not cut the time spent on traveling. With other measures, commuters are able to move faster.
